What is Action-Pin (Press-fit) Technology?

Action-Pin technology, also known as Press-fit technology, is a high-precision mechanical interconnection method used to attach electronic components to a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) without the use of solder.

It utilizes a specially designed elastic “eye-of-the-needle” zone that is pressed into a plated-through hole. This process creates a gas-tight, cold-welded connection that ensures superior mechanical and electrical stability.
